	Rockydale Quarries Corporation values all of our neighbors, man or animal.  We are bound by EPA, DMME, MSHA and other regulatory agencies to uphold noise, dust, water and safety regulations, often exceeding these standards.  It is our goal to be environmental stewards.  The main operation in Roanoke is surrounded by US 220, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and southern Roanoke's premier housing - Hunting Hills.
Rockydale Quarries Corporation has a great relationship with the surrounding schools and communities.  We pride ourselves with not only monetary contributions, but a physical contribution as well.  Through volunteering, we have opened our gates to the Boy Scouts of America to tour the quarry and show them different rock types and geology on an annual basis.  The children's eyes are always in amazement.
	Rockydale Quarries Corporation is committed to help improve the community.  We have shown our support by donating time and material to the Murray Run Greenway Project from the Greater Raleigh Court area to Virginia Western Community College.
Rockydale Quarries Corporation is committed to the community and the environment.  Part of that commitment is the state Adopt-A-Highway program.  We pick up trash that is discarded or dumped along the highway, quarterly or as needed.  We hope our efforts show a continued desire to positively affect the area in which we live and work.
